What is Memory Care?
Memory care is a long-term residential care arrangement specially designed for residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. Also known as Alzheimer’s care or dementia care, memory care is often provided within a separate section of an assisted living community. This type of residential care may be the best option for an older adult with memory loss or cognitive decline who are no longer able to live independently.
